The Smarsh Enterprise Platform offers the following reports to facilitate transparency and accountability of the disposition process:

1. Tier 1 Proof of Deletion Report
   The Proof of Deletion report is an email based report. This report is available only upon request. Once enabled, this report is triggered daily at 3 AM EST to the configured email addresses. For detailed information, refer Proof of Deletion Report.
   

2. Tier 2 Disposition Summary Report
   The Tier 2 Disposition Summary Report provides a comprehensive overview of disposition activity within the Smarsh platform. This report is generated daily and automatically sent via email to designated recipients at 1:00 EST. Customers can specify the recipients for this report by contacting Smarsh Support . This report improves upon the tier 1 Proof of Deletion report by providing more information about pending disposition counts. The report offers:

   • Pending Disposition Tracking: Each row in the report describes the status of disposition triggered on a given date. This enables customers to identify and address any documents that have not been deleted despite exceeding their retention period.

   • Detailed Information: The report includes the following fields for each disposition event:

     • Disposition Triggered Date

     • Disposed Count (Last 24 Hours)

     • Disposition in Progress

     • Data Tier

   • Historical Context: The report tracks disposition activity for the past 30 days or until the oldest pending deletion event, whichever timeframe is longer. This provides valuable historical context for auditing purposes.
