Configuring Network and Channel Icons

Enterprise Archive allows administrators to configure Network and Channel specific icons from a library of available icons.

Important

The ability to view and configure icons is permission controlled and is disabled by default. Enable the Channel & Network Icon Configuration permission from the Roles > Administration : Configure workspace to configure icons.

To configure Network and Channel Icons, from the Administration tab, click the Configure menu and select Network & Channel Icons from the list. To map an Icon for an unmapped Network or Channel, or to change the current mapping, select the desired row to view the Icon Mapping library on the right pane. Select the desired icon to update the Assigned Icon.

The Network and Channel icon mapping behavior is as follows:

  • The mapping is updated in real-time and does not require a Save action.

  • All communications contain both Network and Channel attributes. Icons can be mapped individually to both Networks and Channels.

  • Icons that are mapped to the Network supersedes Icons that are mapped to the Channel for any communication.

  • If both the Network and Channel Icon has been mapped, the mapped Network icon and not the channel Icon will reflect in the search results listing.

  • Only when the Network Icon is not mapped, the Channel icon will appear in the search results listing for those communications.

Note

The networks and channels icons are listed based on the communication data archived in the tenant.
