Deleting a Case for Case Management 2.0

To delete a case from the Case Overview page, perform the following steps:

  1. The Delete option can be accessed from the Case Overview page as shown below:

  2. If the case has any documents that are Held in the case, then selecting Delete will prompt the following error message:

    Documents that are held will have to be released before performing the Uncollect operation.

  3. Once documents have been uncollected, you have to delete all Custodian hold policies from the Case Overview, or the following error will be displayed:

  4. Delete all Custodian hold polices from the Case Overview page as shown below:

  5. Once all the documents have been Uncollected and Custodian hold polices are deleted, you can now Delete a case from the Case Overview page.
